How To Make Whole-Food Juice In a Vitamix?
You can make whole-food juice using a juicer with several different ingredients – oranges, apples, pineapples, carrots, ginger greens, strawberries, coconuts, grapes in whatever combinations. You can find recipes for combinations of these ingredients from experts online. The process is the same, no matter the ingredients:
● Chop up your ingredients into nice sizable bits.
● Put the ingredients into the blender and turn it on. For non-automatic blenders, start from the lowest speed setting and gradually work your way up the speeds to the highest speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
● Run the creamy mixture – “the smoothie” through a filtration bag or alternatives like a cheesecloth, mesh strainer, or even a new handkerchief to separate the pulp from the juice. Squeeze the bag gently and extract as much juice as possible as long as you don’t rip the bag.
● Get rid of the pulp leftover in the filtration bag, and you have your juice.
● Do not strain the initial blended mixture if you want to retain the fiber.
