Nutribullet Or Juicer? Here Are The Pros And Cons Of Each


Juicing and Nutribullet are two different ways to get the nutrients from fruits and vegetables.

Juicers can be expensive, but you do need one in order to juice.

If you don’t have a juicer, then your only option is a Nutribullet which is inexpensive and easy to use with many attachments to make it possible for anything from spinach to even kale!

It does this by spinning food quickly at high speeds, which then creates heat that destroys enzymes, but it keeps all the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients of your produce.

Today, this machine is the top-selling blender in the world with over 10 million sold to its name.

A juicer is a machine that extracts juice from fruits and vegetables by grinding them up (even though some are now using spinning blades called the centrifugal force). 

As they do this, they filter the pulp out of the juice. They do this by using special technology that extracts only pure juice from your food while keeping all the skin and pulp intact. 

The downside is that you must cut produce into small pieces before putting it in the juicer which makes getting ready for one-time use extremely time-consuming. 

Many people also complain of having to clean their pieces, especially after icing leafy greens like celery.

Both juicers and Nutribullets are great machines that help you get all the nutrients out of your fruits and vegetables.

Furthermore, both produce fresh, cold-pressed juice from anything from spinach to even kale!

  1. Fresh juice is available for a longer period of time with a juicer than Nutribullets because they don’t have to be used immediately after making the juice.
  2. If you want to save money, then you need to invest in a good quality juicer that will last a long time, instead of buying cheap ones that break easily and/or only last for a few months.
  3. Although you can make smoothies with Nutribullet’s, it won’t be as effective as when using your own blender which may ruin the nutrient value depending on how fine the blades are ground or if there are any leaks in the machine due to wear and tear over time.
  4. The parts for Nutribullet’s are easy to break, especially the blades.
  5. Nutribullets don’t have a warranty unless you purchase from the original manufacturer. They do not cover any defects or problems that may occur with product use or shipping. On the other hand, some juicers come with a warranty for up to 5 years!
  6. The Nutribullet’s blades can only grind down to a certain size, therefore you are not able to blend or juice as finely as you can with some of the newer juicers on the market today.
  7. When it comes to price, juicers are more expensive and prices vary depending on the quality, type of juicer that is purchased, and where it is being purchased from such as online or offline sources. Anywhere from $50 – $500 for a good quality machine that will be worth it in the long run by providing healthy juice which makes it cheaper than using Nutribullets due to it lasting for a longer period of time if taken care of properly (i.e. clean after each use, no pulp build-up).

Is Nutribullet Healthier Than Juicing?

It’s all about your preference and how you want to drink or eat your fruits and vegetables. 

If you enjoy chewing, then juicing is something that will take more time out of your day while also taking up more space in the kitchen by requiring a bulky appliance like a juicer. 

However, if you’re always on the go and prefer smoothies as opposed to chewing, then Nutribullet has got your back! 

Not only do they provide a quick way to get nutrition into your body without having to spend much time (if any) chewing each mouthful, but it’s easy enough for anyone to use and clean after themselves. 

With these things in mind, it’s not really necessary to choose over the other since both have their benefits. 

If you prefer chewing, then go with juicing. If you like smoothies and want something easy to make in the morning, then get yourself a Nutribullet!

Is It Better To Juice or Blend?

Juicing has some benefits because you get more micronutrients since there are no fiber particles to hold back any nutrients from entering your body. 

On the other hand, blending creates a smoother consistency and blends in all parts of what you put into your drink (fruits and vegetables included). 

Blending also retains all the fiber particles, which is good for your digestive system. 

In general, fruits and vegetables that are put into blenders or juicers (including Nutribullets) retain more healthy ingredients when compared to the same foods processed in a food processor. 

However, when it comes to juicing vs blending, there aren’t any significant differences.

The heat from the motor in a blender can cause nutrients and enzymes found in some foods (like strawberries and leafy greens) to degrade over time resulting in loss of nutrients.  

While you can juice small amounts of these ingredients and enjoy it immediately, the large amount that would be needed to fill a blender would mean the majority of nutrients in that drink will disappear long before anyone could finish it. 

For this reason, Nutribullets are more ideal for juicing.

Does It Matter What You Juice?

Not really, but some fruits and vegetables do have stronger flavors than others so they may not always taste good on their own (for example, pomegranate or ginger). 

With certain combinations, you can mask any flavors you don’t like while also getting added benefits from other foods in your drink. 

On top of that, you can add healthy ingredients like kale into a smoothie having to use too much since the flavors of the fruits will overpower its taste.

This is a negative since it takes much longer to make juice with a juicer that requires preparation work before and after. 

Even if you use a juicer that automatically peels and cuts fruits for you, it’s still more time-consuming than making smoothies in a Nutribullet which can be ready in under 1 minute!

Juicer Vs Nutribullet – Wrap Up

Using both a juicer and Nutribullet are great ways to get the benefits of fruits and vegetables, but one is not better than the other. It’s mostly just personal preference!

Above all else, it is important that you know how to properly store and maintain your juicer so that it will function correctly for several years requiring little or no maintenance at all! 

You also need to take good care of your Nutribullet by never leaving water in between uses which may cause rusting over time if it is not washed right away after use. 

It must be disassembled thoroughly after use in order to allow it to dry completely and to cut down on the possibility of bacteria growth. The blade attachment should be removed immediately after use as well!

It is best to always use fresh produce and keep the parts in a dry, airtight container (i.e seal bag) for maximum freshness! If you don’t follow these steps, then you will most likely not get the full benefits of what your juicer or Nutribullet provides.
